FAQs

To participate in this International Exchange Opportunity, candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old and possess a reasonable level of English proficiency. Yes, there is a selection process involved. Once a candidate finds an opportunity they’re interested in, they will go through an interview with the project manager. This interview, lasting around 15–20 minutes, aims to assess the candidate's motivation and basic English communication skills.

This internship is voluntary, so you won’t receive any salary. However, depending on the specific project, you may be provided with free accommodation and meals. There is an administrative fee of RM800, which is only charged after you are selected for a project and have confirmed your participation. In some cases, you may also need to pay a small fee for accommodation.

AIESEC does not cover your visa or airfare expenses. However, they do support you by providing the required documents for visa application and can also assist in arranging travel insurance.

This program is highly relevant for students as it provides a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in an international setting, complementing their academic knowledge.
